Program
For kids with an adventurous spirit, RPCS offers this popular windsurfing, sea kayaking and catamaran sailing program this summer. Classes will be taught by certified instructors from Ultimate Watersports and will take place at the Ultimate Watersports Center located in the Hammerman Area of Gunpowder State Park on the Chesapeake Bay. You will learn the essential skills of these challenging watersports while gaining an understanding of the ecology of the bay, water safety, self-rescue and teambuilding tactics. Bus transportation to and from RPCS/Gunpowder State Park will be provided. NOTE: Equipment for all activities is provided; however, campers need to bring a bag lunch, swimsuit, sun block, dry change of clothes, beach towel, athletic shoes, and watersports shoes (available at the Ultimate Watersports Center).
