A note about how you have been feeling

A note about how you have been feeling

You reported you have not gotten help with how you have been feeling lately because you feel it will get better with time. It is true that things can get better with time, and hopefully this is the case for you. Sometimes, however, people can get stuck in bad feelings. If you find time is not improving how you feel, please know there are things you can do to feel better and places you can turn for help. If you are ready for help, a good place to start may be asking your doctor or your child's doctor for referrals to mental health professionals, like a psychologist, social worker, or psychiatrist. Also check out the CHADIS Care Portal Resources tab for more ideas about where to get help and strategies you can use to improve how you feel. The challenge for you is to decide how long you are willing to feel bad until trying to get some help.
