Portable Snack for Lunch

Portable Snack for Lunch

Children taking stimulant medication often have less appetite when the medicine is in effect. It is important to assure that your child gets enough calories over the course of the day, even if he or she does not feel much like eating at lunchtime. Having a highly desirable snack food available at lunchtime can overcome some of the lack of interest in eating. Some examples are granola bars, power bars, even cookies. Take you child to the store to help pick out snacks!
