Calendar of Turns

To avoid sibling conflict about who gets to choose different activities and privileges, create a calendar of turns. For example, on Mondays and Wednesdays, one child gets to pick the bedtime story. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, one child gets to pick the morning cartoons. Knowing what to expect and that everyone will have a turn will reduce bickering and calls for you to intervene.
