Exercise needs

All kids benefit from regular exercise. Exercise has been shown to help kids with ADHD reduce motor hyperactivity and sustain attention. It can also help improve mood. This is because exercise releases important chemicals in our bodies that our brains need to function their best.

Exercise does not have to be going to the gym or playing a sport. Try dancing and lip syncing to a favorite song or playing with a family pet. Even doing chores can be exercise!
