Program
Earth Treks has long recognized the incredible value a climbing experience can have for a child. Through indoor climbing programs at Earth Treks' Climbing Center and local/international outdoor courses, Earth Treks teaches over 15,000 people to climb each year. Through the programs we teach, we have witnessed time and again the incredible personal achievements young people are able to make through climbing. Climbing has a unique way of drawing out a child's "personal best," while at the same time asking that they put their trust in their peers. We hope that you will give your child the opportunity to broaden her or his horizons (as well as make some great new friends) by joining us this summer for Earth Treks' Summer Climbing Camp.
All Ages
School Age (6-12), Adolescence (13-21)

Participants meet daily at Earth Treks Climbing Center in Columbia or Timonium. The first day is spent inside with teambuilding events, learning belay skills and rock climbing safety. The next three days are spent at Carderock, Rocks State Park, or other local rock climbing sites. The week will culminate with a friendly Climbers' Olympics at Earth Treks. There are no climbing prerequisites, but our Youth Rox program would be a great primer.
Cost: $425 per session per child ($395 if payment is received by April 1, 2004)
