The Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project is an after-school tutoring program that provides academic support for Baltimore City elementary school students. Through this program, children are paired with Johns Hopkins University students to receive one-on-one help in reading, math, and geography.

Students receive one-on-one help in reading, math and geography.Trained tutors plan an hour of activities and educational games that are specifically selected to meet each child's needs, based on assessments conducted at the beginning of the semester.
