Cradle Beach Camp has been in existence since 1888 serving the needs of disabled and disadvantaged children from Western New York. Cradle Beach provides a healthy environment and organized activities to promote socialization, self-worth, and decision making in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.Cradle Beach strives to be a nationally recognized organization helping individuals with disadvantages or with special needs become productive members of society

There are many different activities that the children participate in that make Cradle Beach Camp so much more than an ordinary camp. From basketball to swimming, to culinary arts, computers, drama and dance - the diversity of our program makes a difference!

Eligibility Requirements

The resident camp serves children, 9 through 16 years of age, who might otherwise be excluded from general camp programs because of physical or mental handicaps, emotional difficulties, or economic disadvantage. Among the types of handicaps and disorders which affect the children are asthma/allergy, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Down's Syndrome, heart defects, hyperactivity, seizures, spina bifida, visual defects and deafness. Referrals for the camp come from dozens of social service and health agencies, physicians and schools.
