Description

Each summer since 1949, the world's most accomplished and promising musicians have made a pilgrimage to Aspen. They come not only to perform, but also to teach, to learn and to be renewed. This year, Music Director David Zinman leads 750 student musicians, as well as 200 guest artists and artist-faculty members through a glorious summer of camaraderie and music.

The Aspen Music Festival and School is a high-level training ground for the world's next generation of professional musicians. It is also a premier classical music festival that presents more than 200 musical events in nine weeks and serves as a summer retreat for many of the world's great musical minds. Aspen Music School and camp offers tutelage under 150 highly respected artist-facutly members for a variety of disciplines including orchestra, opera, contemporary music, piano, and guitar.

Costs

Enrollement/Room and Board fees: For full session: $2700 (tuition), $175 (health), $100 (security deposit), $2900 (room/board). Students accepted to the programs will be considered for fellowships through assignment. Additional financial aid is available.
