Description

At Camp Hand-In-Hand activities are planned by trained staff who understand the need for structure, visual schedules, environmental supports, social stories, individualized communication systems, and proactive behavioral supports. Parents and caregivers are required to provide extensive information about each camper before camp so that communication, sensory, self-care and behavioral needs can be met. Activities include swimming, boating, tubing, horseback riding, fishing, archery, cooking, nature games, and crafts. Each morning all campers receive Music Therapy with an emphasis on communication and social interaction. Campers are grouped by age and interest.
