Description

Eden Wood Center offers a variety of activities such as canoeing, boating, camp-outs, fishing, arts and crafts, sing-a-longs, dances, hikes in the woods, and much more. Activities are adapted to the age and ability of each individual. Day Trips and (or) evening excursions are also available during camp. These may include trips to the zoo, roller-skating, bowling, dinner and a movie, miniature golf and much more.

Trips vary from week to week and space is limited.

Eligibility Requirements

Friendship Ventures' clients are children and adults with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. Many also have physical disabilities or medical conditions such as epilepsy or diabetes. Our programs and services enhance quality of life for people with disabilities, their families and care providers - and send a ripple of benefits into their communities.
