Description

The North Shore Arc is dedicated to providing lifelong, individualized support to people with, or at risk of developing disabilities, and their families, ensuring opportunities to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live, work, socialize and play. Formerly known as the Association for Retarded Citizens, the North Shore ARC's demographic area and service scope have expanded significantly over nearly half a century. Now the ARC serves individuals with mental retardation as well as developmental and other disabilities, in 97 communities across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
