The Developmental Evaluation Clinic provides diagnostic services, serves children between birth and two years of age, for babies who were born premature or other high risk factors. Referred by their pediatrician or parents because of developmental concerns.

Services Provided

The Georgetown team uses informal observations and standardized assessment tools to assess the following : neurological functioning (Infant Motor Screen), cognitive/language abilities (Bayley Scales-Mental Scale), motor functioning (Bayley Scales-Motor Scale). Feedback and community resources are provided for the families, Home suggestions are discussed.

Referred by their pediatrician or parents because of developmental concerns.
