In classrooms around the country, teachers need to teach reading to children who donít speak English, and they havenít been trained. Last year, the U.S. Department of Education convened a panel of scholars to determine the best research-based practices for teaching English language learners.

LD OnLine is a collaboration between public broadcasting and the learning disabilities community. Our public television station has made a long-term commitment to serving the LD community. We create television, radio, and Internet programs dedicated to improving the lives of children with learning disabilities and ADHD.
