Program
In the Primary School, our goal is to cultivate the habits of heart and mind that carry through a lifetime. In these years, each child acquires a zest for learning, a curiosity about the world, compassion for others, and confidence in his or her abilities. We meet each child where he or she is-intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically-and respond with meaningful child-centered learning themes and experiences. In grades 6 through 8, Glenelg students learn to get on track with organizational and time-management skills, set priorities, and stretch themselves intellectually, physically, and socially. At an age when young people are growing quickly and are eager for more independence, Glenelg strikes a healthy balance between that need and the parents' desire for comfort and reassurance.
