Glyndon Art, Ltd is a multi-division corporation. The Fink School of Traditional Art teaches fine art to both children and adults. Our Art Supply and Custom Framing divisions serve both our students and the public. For 39 years, STA has maintained a reputation for consistency of excellence in the teaching of basic and advanced concepts of traditional art. The STA teaching method is based on Fink's classical approach to art. Students learn the "five component" light and shadow system as well as time honored fundamentals of value, composition, proportion and spatial relationship. These skills can be applied to any style- whether a student prefers realism, impressionism or expressionism- the same basics apply. Our goal is to ground our students in traditional realism so that they have the fundamental knowledge to apply their technical skills to any style.
