Expressive Therapy Center offers therapy/support in a group setting or individual therapy for adults, adolescents, or children in a wide variety of expressive ways. Psychotherapy groups for children and adolescents focus on peer relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, ADHD, LD, aspergers, depression, family conflict, impulsivity, anger management and other issues. Groups use art and movement therapy as well as traditional therapeutic approaches. Adult support groups focus on breaking the cycle of unhealthy relationships, depression, anxiety, anger management, and parenting skills. Parents who have concerns about their children's learning, achievement, emotions, or behavior have the opportunity to receive information about the child's functioning through psychological evaluations. Psychological evaluations generally include a series of tests which most typically assess intellectual and social/emotional functioning. In addition, psychological testing often includes school achievement testing.
