"The BCP is a comprehensive curriculum-based assessment and planning tool for use by special education professionals serving children and adults who are functioning between the developmental ages of approximately 1 to 14 years. It offers a broad continuum of 2,300 observable skills and behaviors grouped into 56 Strands (Goal Areas). Each Strand contains up to 50 behaviors that extend to ?socially-acceptable? adult skills and behaviors. The BCP is age and label free (non-discriminatory). It is used for assessment, setting objectives, tracking progress, and preparing instruction." --from the website
