Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a 106 year-old tertiary care facility that features the widest array of specialty and sub-specialty services on the Delmarva Peninsula. The Medical Center, comprised of 322 acute care and 30 subacute care beds, recently received a 'Five Star Rating' for excellence in valve replacement surgery and treatment of heart failure by HealthGrades, Inc, a leading health care information company that measures the quality of care provided by over 5,000 hospitals nationally. Peninsula Regional, at the hub of the Peninsula Regional Health System, provides comprehensive interventional and surgical cardiac care and houses the largest cardiovascular/pulmonary rehabilitation program in Maryland. In addition to general medical and surgical care, women's and children's services, outpatient diagnostic and terapeutic services.
