This is a community-based program that provides therapeutic foster care services to children as an alternative to placement in a residential facility. Children served are those up to age 18 who may be mildly to moderately emotionally disturbed and whose behavior cannot be managed in a regular home but whose needs can best be met within a family setting. Staff licenses Teaching Homes and trains Teaching Parents to utilize behavior management and to teach social skills to the foster children placed in their homes. Staff provides ongoing support, consultation, and training to Teach Parents and is available to them "24/7"
