Program
A licensed Therapeutic Foster Care Child Placement Agency that provides intensive therapeutic services to foster children and their families. RCI is guided by the Positive Power of Kinship Bonding (PPKB) model, which includes the following 5 units: Bonding - made up of case managers who help the child and family adjust to the placement Kinship - encourages the biological family members to participate in the growth and development of the child for the duration of placement Power of learning - works with the child, foster parent and school to monitor and develop an specialized edcuational plan, called an IEP, for each child Positive use of leisure time - develops a plan to use the child's time during physical and leisure activities towards productively improving social skills; Health services - provide access to nutritional and medical services that meet the needs of the child and ensures that these needs are met; Health Services also monitor any medicine a child is on.
