"The National Coalition for Adult Immunization (NCAI) was formed in 1988 and is a network of more than 130 organizations including professional associations, voluntary organizations, advocacy groups, vaccine manufacturers, government health agencies, and state and local coalitions. The Coalition was formed to make the most efficient use of public and private resources to achieve Healthy People national goals for adolescent and adult immunization. Through partnerships, NCAI values a commitment to better public health for all adolescents and adults through immunization, proactive leadership and advocacy, support of science-based recommendations, timely, accurate, accessible and audience-appropriate information, and the knowledge and motivation that are essential for successful immunization programs." -- Website
