Some children who have the types of problems you reported have Sleepwalking Disorder.

Between 10% and 30% of children have sleepwalked one time. Only1%-5% of children sleepwalk often and have problems because of it.

Sleepwalking often starts when children are between the ages of 4 and 8. The most common age for sleepwalking is 12. Children who sleepwalk usually do it many times. This usually goes on for a few years. This problem often goes away by the time the child is 15. They could have this problem again as an adult.
