A note about your child not stopping what he/she is doing when asked

In a questionnaire you indicated that your child has trouble stopping what (he/she) is doing when asked. It is great that your child can become so interested in an activity. At this age you can try to distract him/her with a toy or something also interesting and pick him/her up. If possible they could take the toy or object of their interest with them. Going outside or at least to a different room usually helps. This is not a sign of disobedience, but rather a strength in curiosity and persistence.
